The Grete R. Bressner Dance Scholarship Fund (GRBSF) respects the privacy of applicants, families, donors, participating organizations, volunteers, and website visitors.
Information we collect
We may collect contact information; donation and transaction records; scholarship applications and supporting materials; information about students, programs, providers, and participation; communications; photographs and testimonials shared with permission; and limited technical information such as device data, pages visited, cookies, and analytics.
Website analytics and your choice
With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to distinguish visits and provides reports about page views, sessions, devices, and general traffic sources. These reports help us improve the website. Google Tag Manager loads and manages our Analytics tag after you give permission.
Analytics and Tag Manager stay off until you choose “Allow analytics.” We remember your choice in this browser for up to 180 days. You can use “Analytics preferences” in the footer to change it at any time. Declining does not affect donations, the contact form, or other website features. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, our analytics remains off.
We send the page title and page address without query strings or fragments, and only the origin of a referring website. We do not send contact-form contents, names entered in the story search, scholarship information, donor details, or payment information to Google Analytics. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. Donations made through Zeffy remain subject to Zeffy’s own privacy practices.
When you withdraw permission, we stop our analytics, clear its first-party cookies, and reload the page. This stops future collection from this website; it does not erase data already processed by Google. How we use information
Information helps us administer scholarships and provider relationships, process donations and acknowledgments, communicate about the Fund, maintain legal, tax, financial, and security records, and operate and protect our website.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
When information may be shared
Information may be shared as needed with authorized directors, reviewers, volunteers, participating providers, and service providers helping the Fund operate. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect safety or the Fund’s assets, or to obtain professional services.
Payments and security
Payments are handled by third-party payment services. GRBSF does not store full payment-card numbers or security codes. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information, but no electronic system can guarantee complete security.
Applicants, minors, and media
Scholarship information is treated as confidential and shared only with authorized people who need it for program administration. A parent or guardian must provide appropriate permission for a minor’s participation and information.
GRBSF seeks appropriate permission before sharing identifiable photos or testimonials. Media consent is voluntary and does not determine scholarship eligibility.
Your choices
You may ask to correct information, request deletion where appropriate, or stop nonessential communications by contacting us. We may retain records needed for legal, tax, financial, fraud-prevention, scholarship, contractual, or recordkeeping purposes.
Third-party services have their own privacy practices. We may update this notice as the website, programs, or legal obligations change; the effective date will reflect the most recent revision.

GRBSF is committed to fair and respectful access to its scholarships, programs, partnerships, volunteer opportunities, and leadership. We do not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of a characteristic protected by applicable law.

Donations are not automatically matched. Matching is offered only under the specific funding, dates, limits, and written terms of a Board-approved campaign.
